Fall 2025 Scholarship Guidelines

The following guidelines apply to this scholarship available for the Fall of 2025.

Scholarship Qualifications and How to Apply

QUALIFICATIONS

• Maintain a passing GPA if applicable
• Be enrolled part-time or full-time as a returning-to-education student, pursuing an associate’s degree, certificate, diploma, or skilled trade program
• Be a resident of Western North Carolina or North East Georgia.
• Attend a local Western NC or Northeast Georgia college, trade school, or technical program that our organization can coordinate funding with. If your school is not listed below, please still apply and reach out to us directly – we are open to connecting with your institution.

  North Georgia Technical College
  Lanier Technical Collegeted colleges we work with

• Submit one recommendation from a teacher or administrator.
  Please include your recommender’s name, email, and contact information in your application. Ask them to email their recommendation directly to us at women4mentors@gmail.com, including a brief referral explaining why you are deserving of this scholarship.

Note: Returning to Education: A non-traditional student does not always follow the typical path of enrolling in college immediately after high school. Often, they return after a significant break, while balancing work, family, or other responsibilities. We welcome students pursuing skilled trades, technical diplomas, and certificate programs alongside academic degrees.

  • What you hope to achieve upon graduation or program completion
• Gather all required documents, including:
  • Your essay.
  • Recommendations.
• Ask your recommender to email their recommendation directly to women4mentors@gmail.com
• Complete the online application form on the Scholarships page.
• Double-check your submission to ensure all materials are accurate and included.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Women 4 Mentors Fall 2025 Scholarship Application is now OPEN. Award announcements will be made by Summer 2025. We will be awarding up to two scholarships for $750 each. Scholarship funds are sent directly to recipients’ colleges or training programs.
