All positions below are volunteer-based (unpaid) and remote. These roles are ideal for students, early-career professionals, or anyone seeking to make a meaningful impact while gaining real-world experience.
Open Roles
Programs & Project Management Intern (Volunteer Role)
Overview:
Assist with planning, coordination, and tracking of W4M programs and projects — including Roundtables, workshops, and community initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support project timelines and deliverables using tools like Asana or Google Workspace
Coordinate communication between team members and contributors
Help organize event logistics and follow-up tasks
Participate in team check-ins and planning meetings
Ideal For: Students studying project management, communications, nonprofit leadership, or business.
Webinar & Events Admin
Overview:
Help organize and run our monthly Roundtable webinars and live discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage event setup (Zoom, StreamYard, or other platforms)
Handle participant and guest communications
Provide live-event support (chat moderation, slide sharing, timing cues)
Track attendance and gather post-event feedback
Ideal For: Someone who enjoys logistics, communication, and event planning.
Funding & Promotions Coordinator
Overview:
Assist with research, outreach, and communication related to partnerships, sponsorships, and promotional campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and track potential funding or sponsor leads
Support donor and partner communications
Help develop promotional materials for campaigns or events
Maintain outreach lists and follow-up schedules
Ideal For: Students or professionals interested in nonprofit development, fundraising, or marketing strategy.
Marketing & Social Media Intern
Overview:
Help shape W4M’s online presence through engaging visuals, social content, and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and post social media content using Canva or similar tools
Support graphics for Roundtable events, newsletters, and promos
Assist in maintaining W4M’s brand voice across channels
Track engagement and brainstorm creative ways to grow visibility
Ideal For: Graphic design, marketing, or communications majors.
