Rising Together
SUPPORTING EACH OTHER
We believe in the transformative power of women supporting women. Our mission is to empower women in Western North Carolina and Northeast Georgia by providing meaningful mentorship, financial assistance, and community support to those returning to school. By fostering connections between mentors and mentees, we create a strong network that breaks down barriers to education and promotes personal and academic success. Together, we are building a brighter future, one woman at a time.

President
Tiffany C. Foster
Tiffany C. Foster is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and lifelong learning. As the Founder and President of Women 4 Mentors she strives to bring the realizations of these passions into a natural resource for other women. Tiffany’s journey in advocacy began when she herself returned to school after a life change, an experience that highlighted the challenges many women face when pursuing higher education later in life. Determined to make a difference, she founded Women 4 Mentors to provide mentorship and financial support, creating a network that uplifts women from all walks of life.

Treasurer
Ginny Overbay
As a nontraditional student, Ginny had to depend on student loans to help make ends meet while going to school and being a single parent. The difficulty of making it work – and seeing it through to the end – was eye opening as every semester presented new challenges. After receiving a scholarship during her final year of school, she realized how beneficial programs geared towards low-income and/or nontraditional students can be. As a professional in the tech industry, she believes everyone deserves a chance to commit to creating a better life for themselves and desires to help make applying for resources more accessible.

Development Coordinator
Christine Foster
Christine Foster returned to college as a non-traditional student at the age of 38 and graduated at 42 with her undergraduate degree. During this time, she discovered the many challenges women face when either returning to school or re-entering the workplace. Christine funded her return with scholarships (based on grades) and student loans. While a student Christine became active in two internship programs which helped to shape her view on the need for mentoring for women.
